How to Add a Collaborator to your Google AnalyticsApr 19, 2021
Sometimes you may need to add a maintenance or collaboration person to view your Google Analytics. This is a service I provide with Magickally Maintained Website Services. Here is how to add a collaborator to your Google Analytics.
1. Log in to Google Analytics.
Simply log in to Google Analytics with your Google Account. If you don't have Google Analytics, sign up at https://analytics.google.com.
2. Click the Admin option.
This is where all Google administration for analytics is performed.
3. Click the "Account User Mangement" option
All user accounts currently configured at listed here.
4. Click the + sign to add a new user
You will be given two options, "Add Users" or "Add User Groups". Choose Add Users.
5. Add the new user.
The email address to be used for Magickally Maintained Website Services is [email protected] If you are not a member of MMWS, you will need to put the address of the new user in that spot.
Check ONLY the boxes as collaborator, Read and Analyze. There is no need for any other permissions to be granted.
6. All done!
No other information is needed. The user specified will receive an email to accept the role given.
